1. Overview

This Subscription & Refund Policy outlines the terms applicable to paid Educator subscriptions on the BettaLearn platform (“Platform”).

By subscribing, you agree to this Policy in addition to our Terms and Conditions.

2. Subscription Eligibility

Educator subscriptions are available to individuals aged 16 years or older.

By subscribing, you confirm you have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

3. Subscription Fees

3.1 Pricing

The Educator subscription fee is:

  • $4.99 AUD per month

For international users, this amount will be converted into your local currency at the prevailing exchange rate, but the base fee remains $4.99 AUD.

Prices may change in the future with prior notice.

4. First Month Free Promotion

BettaLearn may offer a “First Month Free” promotional period.

During this period:

  • No subscription fee is charged.
  • Payment details may still be required at sign-up.
  • Billing will automatically commence at the end of the free period unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Users are responsible for cancelling prior to the renewal date if they do not wish to be charged.

5. Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew on a monthly basis unless cancelled.

By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges via:

  • Stripe
  • PayPal (when available)

The subscription will continue until cancelled.

6. Cancellation Policy

Educators may cancel at any time via account settings.

Upon cancellation:

  • Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
  • No further charges will occur after the current billing cycle.
  • Partial refunds are not provided for unused time.

7. Refund Policy

7.1 General Policy

BettaLearn does not provide refunds for:

  • Change of mind
  • Unused subscription periods
  • Partial months
  • Failure to cancel before renewal

7.2 Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this Policy excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.

You may be entitled to a refund if:

  • The service is not provided with due care and skill
  • The service is not fit for purpose
  • The service fails to meet consumer guarantees

7.3 International Users

Refund rights may vary depending on your local consumer protection laws.

Where required by applicable law, BettaLearn will comply with mandatory refund obligations.

8. Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

  • We may retry the charge.
  • Your subscription may be suspended.
  • Continued non-payment may result in account termination.

9. Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing.

If pricing changes:

  • Existing subscribers will receive advance notice.
  • Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the new price.

10. Taxes

Subscription fees may include or exclude applicable taxes depending on jurisdiction.

Users are responsible for any local taxes required by law.

11. Account Termination

If BettaLearn terminates your account due to violation of Terms or Community Guidelines:

  • No refund will be issued.
  • Access will cease immediately.

12. Payment Security

Payments are processed by secure third-party providers.

BettaLearn does not store full credit card details.
